Grossard Education Pty Ltd ("us", "we", or "our") operates MAPPEN (https://getmappen.com) and MAPPEN Home Learning (https://homelearning.getmappen.com) (hereinafter referred to as "Service").
PERSONAL DATA means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).
USAGE DATA is data collected automatically either generated by the use of Service or from Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

(ii) For the purpose of including your schools logo on our website;

7.Security of Data
The security of your data is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.
Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualise and personalise the ads of its own advertising network.

11. Children's Privacy
Teachers have the ability to enter student names for the purposes of record keeping (i.e. taking notes) and for allowing access to MAPPEN Home Learning.
The only personally identifiable information collected on persons under the age of 18 is a first and last name, when added by a teacher.
Student information cannot be shared between teachers, only the teacher who added the student has access to their data.
Data automatically collected on students includes, but is not limited to, times that the student logged in, activities that the student viewed and when a student completes an activity.

12. Security, Storage and Data Retention
All teacher and student data is stored in a secure database on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Access is tightly controlled, only authorised personal from Grossard Education Pty Ltd have access.
All data is securely backed-up and encrypted at rest.
When a subscription expires, we retain the data in our database. If a school or student would like this data to be deleted, they can contact our customer service team and we will be happy to oblige.
All user passwords are encrypted using bcrypt, meaning that they cannot be decrypted and are never stored in plain text.
All data transferred on getmappen.com is protected by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
